Farberware’s Tristar 15-piece cutlery set is reasonably priced and includes all the essential knives for the kitchen and table. The six kitchen knives in the set include an 8-inch chef's for chopping, 8-inch slicer for carving roasts and poultry, 8-inch bread for slicing crusty loaves, 6-inch cleaver for heavy duty chopping, 4-1/2-inch boning for removing meat from the bone, and 3-inch paring for mincing and fine chopping. Each kitchen knife is constructed from high-carbon, stainless steel, with a smooth edge to allow for easy sharpening. The set also includes six 4-1/2-inch serrated steak knives that never need sharpening, 8-inch all-purpose kitchen shears, and an 8-inch sharpening steel. Full tangs extend through the smooth, non-slip, waterproof handles and are secured with three stainless-steel rivets for extra strength. All knives in this set are dishwasher-safe. Farberware suggests always storing cutlery sets in the appropriate storage location.
